Year 5 were privileged to have a special visit from Professor Brainwave. He was an amazing maths specialist who got us to think about reasoning in a brand new way.
We used games, challenges and physical modelling to investigate the properties of 2D and 3D shapes. We looked at how shapes are created, how their properties are explained and how to use accurate models to prove this to other people.
