We have been studying the artwork of Jave Yoshimoto. We have evaluated some of his art work and tried to recreate some of his techniques. We have thought about how to mix paints to give us a variety of tones to create different emotions. We have also experimented with our paintbrush and different brushstrokes to create different textures. When painting our own pieces, we have thought carefully about what to include in the background, middle ground and foreground and thought carefully about proportion.
