We were super excited to make a long overdue return to the Olympic pool in Stratford. The fantastic charity Panathlon invited our school to participate in a swimming gala.
We travelled to London by minibus and soon arrived at the epic London Aquatics Centre. We were based in the diving pool area and competed in a range of individual and team events. These included 25m races, relay races and teamwork based events.
Competing alongside 5 other schools we successfully came runners up! Certainly our best result at this event over the last few years. As ever our children were a credit to our school and will always remember competing at such an iconic venue, it was just a shame that Tom Daley didn’t happen to be training on the same day!
