This annual track and field event, held at Ormiston Rivers Academy, brings together all the local primary schools to compete in a traditional athletics event. We walked up to ORA with a huge team ready to demonstrate our athletic ability. In glorious sunshine field events, throwing and jumping were contested first. By lunchtime we were sitting in 3rd out of 8 schools. After a lunch break we then moved onto track events, and our children demonstrated some lightening fast team and individual performances.
At the end of the day we maintained our 3rd position overall, which was a great achievement against some talented competition. We now need to work hard over the next year, to improve our athletic skills and challenge for a top 2 finishing position next year.
