This year we were asked by William De Ferrers to host the Dengie qualifying round of the annual Cross Country competition. After directing lots of children from Maylandsea, St Cedds, Southminster and St Marys, along with plenty of parents we began a fantastic afternoon of Cross Country.
The dedication from our children, who train twice a week before school and within their PE lessons, brought home lots of top 3 finishes. Resulting in nearly all of our teams qualifying for the next round at William De Ferrers where the quality of running increases once again.
A great afternoon of healthy, competitive sport and we are certainly looking forward to the next round of competition.
