This year we had two runners qualify for the County Final, held at the Olympic Mountain Biking site at Hadleigh Country Park. The races were split into year groups and boys and girls, with approximately 100 if not more in each race. After walking the course our 2 runners waited patiently for their races. With one race early on in the day and our second race the penultimate event of the day we had quite a wait!
To even qualify for this event was a huge achievement and we placed respectably amongst a very high quality field of runners. This level of success once again reinforces the early morning training sessions months before this event that do all pay off in the end!
