We introduced Tennis as an after school club last year and had a very successful trip to Wimbledon in the summer. Therefore when the opportunity to visit the ATP World Finals came about, held at The O2 in central London, we set off with great excitement!
Our children watched Jamie Murray play doubles against the mighty Brian brothers, and in the singles we watched Grigor Dimitrov play some blistering tennis. He also ended up winning the tournament outright! Our children were a credit to our school and demonstrated maturity and patience throughout the long day of tennis. Hopefully more of our children will be inspired to pick up a racquet in the summer of 2018 and perhaps watch more tennis at live venues in the future as well.
