After an extended break it was fantastic to finally be able to travel with our senior Netball players for a tournament over in Maldon. On a chilly and blustery day we arrived at All Saints Primary to play against St Marys, Maylandsea and our hosts.
The cool conditions inspired our players to get warm and keep moving, blasting our way towards 2 emphatic wins and a very closely contested draw with Maylandsea! The dedication of our players with the week in, week out support from Mrs Foster at training, certainly produced some excellent Netball performances.
After the Easter break we look forward to welcoming some of the schools for some more games at our school.
Well done to all the players taking part, and also our players who did not make the team sheet on this occasion, but will certainly feature in the future. Thanks also to All Saints for hosting and William De Ferrers SSP for delivering this enjoyable event.
