BCPS were really excited to host a Science Zoo Enrichment Day on Monday 30th January and Tuesday 31st January. ‘Wild Science’ brought a range of animals into school for the children to handle and learn about. They have been a leading provider of hands-on animal experiences in the UK since the company was established in 2014 https://wildsci.co.uk/.
The experts brought in a mix of Mammals, Reptiles/Amphibians and Invertebrates for the children to hold and interact with. During the sessions, the expert covered the different classification groups, habitats and life cycles, linking it to Science learning for each year group. The children had a great time and loved interacting with the various animals.
