Year 6 have really enjoyed their D&T topic this half term- designing and making animal automatas. The children researched different designs and chose their favourite one to recreate. They measured wood accurately to the nearest mm and then used a saw to safely cut the dowling. They were able to use the glue guns to attach their cams to the axel to ensure that they would rotate.
