We carried out an experiment to find out which material made the best filter. We made predictions and explained which material we thought would be the most efficient filter. We then compared the filtered water and recorded how long the water took to filter through the paper.
Which material is the most waterproof? We chose a range of materials and then poured water through to see which material was the most waterproof. This is useful in the real world when deciding what fabrics to select for outdoor use, such as tents or winter coats.
