We were very lucky once again to secure tickets to Wimbledon, via the Schools ballot. We had a very long journey into London but once we arrived at the grounds the atmosphere was fantastic! We went directly to “Henman Hill” (or “Murray Mount!) and watched some Tennis on the big screens whilst we waited for Centre Court and Court No. 1 to open. Throughout the course of the day all of our children rotated in to Centre Court to watch a few games. A huge highlight of the day was watching the sensational Serena Williams play on Centre. We popped into the gift shop to round off the day before starting the long journey home.
All of the children definitely enjoyed the day and were a credit to our school.
