Parents & Teachers Association (PTA)
Welcome to the PTA and to what is going to be an exciting fundraising year ahead.
The PTA has been running for a number of years and in the past has provided the school with equipment and resources, which have enhanced the children’s education and the facilities within the school. Without these funds the children would not have the heating in the changing rooms enabling the swimming to be in use all the year round, a fantastic school library and a new climbing frame for the middle school.
With a newly elected committee, we are currently looking to refresh ourselves with a new name, which we have asked the school council to assist us with. We hope this will enable us to reach further into the school community.
Meetings are held approximately once a month, in the evening. Where we organise and plan for fundraising and general events for the school. Some meetings in the future maybe held after school in anticipation of more teachers and parents able to attend.
Please don’t think we are just about meetings – our aim is to put the fun back into FUNdraising!
As a parent of a child in the school you are automatically a member of the PTA. However little time you have to spare, we are always looking for help in running events. Why not come along to one of meetings?
