Year 6s Leave in Style!
The Year 6 children ended their last day at Burnham-on-Crouch Primary School with an emotional ‘Leavers’ Assembly’. They shared their best memories of their time at our school and it was clear just how much they have enjoyed their time with us. Many tears were shed by friends who will be going to different schools; by those who just didn’t want to leave; and by the teachers who have watched them grow from nervous 4 year olds into mature and confident 11 year olds.
The tears soon dried up however when they came out of school to find a fleet of limousines and other cars waiting to whisk them away to various activities organised for them by their parents and carers.
We hope that they all had fun wherever they went (we know where Katie, Holly and Amy were as they were in the same place as the teachers!) and wish them all the very best of luck at whichever school they are moving to. We will miss you all and hope you will come back and visit us very soon.
